Chateau Laurier!

Well, I always wanted to stay at this beautiful and mysterious hotel. Spence and I had two days off in a row together, so he whisked me away on a Canadian adventure!

The first day we arrived in the afternoon and took a nap. We had to drive while we should have been sleeping (since we’re both on nights at the moment). Then we went out exploring ByWard Market, a huge shopping district there and ate at a fun, happy place called Zack’s.

We mosied back to the hotel and explored the old place! It was really neat to read about and see all the pictures of who stayed there and when. Lots of history… We went up into the tower as far as we could go. The views were pretty.

The next day we explored the city and a little more of the hotel. We even went on a tour of Parliament!
