Oldest Putt Putt Golf in America

Tonight Spence and I went to a place we've wanted to go to for years - and certainly before we left Rochester. It's called Whispering Pines Miniature Golf, and it's the oldest miniature golf course in the United States. It opened in 1930, and it smells like it, too! Besides that, it was SO much fun! There were several challenging holes, and believe-it-or-not, it was a fight 'til the end that resulted in a TIE between the Monk and myself. Crazy. Here's one of the shots I had to make that he seemed to have captured perfectly.

Afterwards we went to the lake and thought some more about the last five years. And it seemed appropriate that the sun wasn't shining and the air was somewhat cool but thick. The weather's just never quite nice enough here. =) But tonight, we didn't care. It was simply wonderful to be together and think back on all of the history we've made in Upstate New York's Ra~cha~cha.
